Word to PDF

Turn a Word document into a PDF that looks the same on every device.

How to convert Word to PDF

  1. Drop your Word document (.docx) onto the box above, or click it to choose it. A preview appears below.
  2. Click “Download PDF” to get the PDF in one click.
  3. Or click “Save as PDF with selectable text”, and in the print window choose “Save as PDF” (on iPhone: Print, then Share, then Save to Files). This keeps the text selectable and searchable.

Everything happens in this browser tab. Nothing is uploaded, and closing the tab clears it all.

Questions

Is my document uploaded?

No. The document is opened and converted in your browser, on your device. It is never sent to a server.

What’s the difference between the two PDF options?

“Download PDF” is instant and looks exactly like the preview, but each page is a picture, so text can’t be selected or searched. “Save as PDF with selectable text” uses your browser’s built-in PDF maker, which keeps real, searchable text.

Will it look exactly like in Word?

Text, headings, lists, tables, and pictures come across well. Fonts that aren’t installed on your device are replaced with similar ones, and very complex layouts may shift slightly. Check the preview before you save.

Can I convert old .doc files?

Not directly. Open the file in Word, Google Docs, or LibreOffice and save it as .docx, then convert that.
