How to make a QR code
- Choose what the code should hold: a link, some text, or your WiFi network.
- Type or paste it in. The QR code updates as you type.
- Pick a code color and background if you like. Dark on light scans most reliably.
- Choose a download size and click “Download PNG” for sharing and printing, or “Download SVG” for a file that stays sharp at any size.

Questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The code contains your link or text directly, not a redirect through our site, so it keeps working forever and nobody can track who scans it.
How does the WiFi QR code work?
It stores your network name, password, and security type in the standard WiFi format. Most phone cameras offer to join the network when they scan it. Your password never leaves your device while you make the code.
PNG or SVG?
PNG works everywhere, from documents to messaging apps. SVG is a vector file that stays perfectly sharp at any size, which is ideal for posters, signs, and professional printing.
Why won’t my colored QR code scan?
Scanners need strong contrast between the code and its background. If the tool warns that your colors are too close, choose a darker code color or a lighter background.
