Merge PDFs

Add two or more PDFs, put them in order, and combine them into one file.

How to merge PDF files

  1. Drop your PDF files onto the box above, or click it to choose them. You can add more files at any time.
  2. Put the files in order with the ↑ and ↓ buttons. The first file in the list becomes the first pages of the new PDF.
  3. Click “Merge PDFs”. Your combined file, merged.pdf, downloads straight away.

Everything happens in this browser tab. Nothing is uploaded, and closing the tab clears it all.

Questions

Are my PDFs uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDFs are read and combined by your own browser, on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, so the tool also works on private documents such as contracts, bank statements, and medical forms.

Is there a limit on file size or number of files?

There is no set limit. Because the work happens on your device, very large files depend on how much memory your computer or phone has. Most everyday PDFs merge in a second or two.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Not yet. Open the PDF in a viewer that knows the password, save a copy without the password, and add that copy instead.

Will the quality of my PDF change?

No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays sharp and searchable and images are not recompressed.
